Beginning
This is not going to be very long or profound, but just a trial run. Sitting in Kyiv, Ukraine, trying to make sense out of the stop-and-go nature of the economic transition here. Lots of potential here, lots of hope, but also many potholes, just as you see in many of the streets and highways here. What we have learned is now in a book about ag and rural policy in Ukraine. Available in Ukrainian and English. It is a beginning but also one of many attempts to energize reform in this land.
